This Orange Shirt Day sock set was created with deep reverence for the significance of Every Child Matters, a day that honors Indigenous children and survivors of residential schools. As a First Nations maker, this sock set holds a special place in my heart. Since the beginning of Bear House Knits, I’ve wanted to create something meaningful to commemorate Orange Shirt Day and its message of awareness, healing, and unity.

Perfect for socks, shawls, or small projects, this yarn serves as a gentle reminder to honor the resilience of Indigenous communities and commit to reconciliation.

Details:
- Weight: Fingering
- Skein Sizes: 100g + 25g
- Fiber Content: 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon
- Care Instructions: Gentle hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.

Please Note:
- Each skein is lovingly hand-dyed in small batches, resulting in unique color variations that make your project truly one-of-a-kind. While I strive for consistency, no two skeins are exactly alike.
- I've done my best to capture the true nature of these colors in the photos, but please keep in mind that colors may appear slightly different due to screen settings and lighting.
- Although I take great care to set the dye, some bleeding may occur during the first few washes, especially with darker or more saturated colors. To minimize this, I recommend washing your finished project separately in cold water with a gentle detergent.

Thank you for supporting small businesses and meaningful craft. Every stitch tells a story. 🧡
